Friends of the Museum Association FRIENDS
OF THE MUSEUM OF THE ORDER OF THE LIBERATION Statutes Established in compliance with the Law of July 1st, 1901, the Association known as "The Friends of the Museum of the Order of the Liberation - Free France, Resistance, Deportation" was founded on September 23rd, 1970. It was approved by the State by decree on October 22nd, 1971.
Its purpose is to gather, reference, preserve, maintain and present - for the French Order of the Liberation - the documents, souvenirs, flags, pennants, objects, war trophies won in the campaigns in which the Free French Forces participated, the efforts of the French Resistance and the concentration camps.
Association headquarters are located inside the facilities of the Chancellery of the Order of the Liberation, 51 bis, bd de Latour-Maubourg, Paris 7th Arrondissement.

For additional information you can contact the main office of the Association (see above for address, phone, etc.) How to join The Museum of the Order of the Liberation is the protector of the memorabilia of the Order, and has a remarkable collection with approximately 3,400 items, all of which were donated by Companions of the Liberation, by their family members and by members of the Resistance and the Free French movement. The Museum does not receive any subsidies to store, maintain and preserve this rich heritage. It survives thanks to the support and precious help it gets from the members of the Association.
